ITAFRICA were approached by Mjengo Ltd. upgrade their Surveillance system to cover more areas in their premises. Their initial CCTV cameras that had been upgraded, but they were dissatisfied with the system. CCTV camera footage quality in low-light was poor, and there was limited coverage of their warehouses other external areas. Therefore, the recently ‘upgraded’ system wasn’t fit-for-purpose and need a professional CCTV company to start again from scratch.

Site survey and CCTV system
One of ITAFRICA’s Technical team attended the site and met with the IT Management team to discuss the objectives for the CCTV system.
A great concern was raised on the area of offloading products to the warehouses as some would not be counted for due to unknown reasons. Furthermore, as the current CCTV system didn’t provide full coverage of the areas concerned, opportunistic thieves and vandals could target any vehicles left overnight.
The recommended system comprised of:
- 4MP CCTV IP Turret Cameras
- Weatherproof IP Loudspeakers
- 32 Channel Network Video Recorder
- Wall-mounted Data Cabinet
The project outcome
The IP CCTV cameras were positioned to provide full coverage of all the storage warehouses with footage being viewed remotely by the customer.
The end result? One happy customer a professionally designed and installed one fit-for-purpose business CCTV system.
